Soli-Reading: “Die schwarze Saat”

With: an activist
When: 1 pm
Language: German

You can find some information to the book here: https://feralfire.noblogs.org/buecher-zines

The publisher of the book – Elany – has been in custody in Switzerland since the 9th January 2022 because of the so-called ‘urgent suspicion of public sabotage and arson’. We show solidarity with Elany and want to report on Elany’s situation. Then we want to present the book and read some texts from it.

Talk: The uprising introduces itself

Unfortunately omitted!

Discussion: The Right to Remain silent and Prison

With: Anarchists from the surroundings of the Hambacher Forst
When: 3:30 pm
Language: German

Don’t talk to the cops – that’s probably what most anarchists would agree with. At the same time, it often happens that people do make statements in court. With an anarchist view on prisoner support we want to talk about the reasons and consequences of this. We also want to take a critical look at false hopes and images of prison, repression and justice.

Talk and Discussion: About the uprising and relationsships

With: activists
When: 3:30 pm
Language: German

In the present, it is easier to imagine the end of the world than the end of capitalism and bourgeois society – this diagnosis of the present hits not only the majority society, but also our own radical left contexts.
We believe that this extreme difference between utopia on the one hand and our own bleak reality of life on the other is not simply a problem of our lack of dedication to the cause, but has its roots in the actual powerlessness and loneliness of and within the radical left.
Therefore, it is no wonder that the predominant radical left practice of the present in the German-speaking world – apart from ineffective campaigns – mostly falls apart into two extremes: on the one side, the attempts to intervene in social struggles, which, however, are always threatened by settling on the wrong whole and thus maintaining it. On the other side, it is the insurgent declaration of war on violence of the present, which itself, however, is hardly capable of substituting an order of mutual help, desire and happiness for an order through violence.
The thesis of the lecture is that in our revolutionary action we have to convey these two poles again: Militancy as a necessary rupture with what exists, mutual aid as a condition for the possibility of mass militant action. This mediation could succeed, we think, if we start at our own problems and recognize their social production and thus their general character. It is not about the theoretical forcing of multiple different anarchist currents, but rather the proposal of a revolutionary practice based in our own contradictory world.
We want to give an impulse to ask the very big questions again: How do we want to live? What do we have to do for it and where do we start? What is the good life? We can only find out and discuss the answers together – and we want to provoke this movement of searching with our lecture.

Talk: Critique of Socialism of the DDR

With: an activist
When: 6 pm
Language: German

Socialism is currently and may be in the future non-existent in Germany. Not only Socialism of the DDR but also every other liberal, communist/ anarchist alternative to capitalism. To re-birth those alternatives, we are going to examine Stalinism, Anti-fascism, militarization and so on. as well as the specific athmosphere this Germany of the DDR had.

Online-Talk: Anarcha-Feminism in Greece

With: “Samomé” from Athens
When: 6 pm
Language: German

Women building groups : the evolution of anarcha – feminist groups in Greece in the last years.

In the last two years in Greece something that has never happened, happened. A lot of women groups were founded within the anarchist movement and beyond, while at the same time the greek “Me Too” started. Those feminist waves came to Greece with a certain delay as they where broadly not being accepted in the “patriarchal south”.
We want to look and the past and present of women groups in the anarchist movement since the 80’s, to paint a picture of the groups in that time, to examine the causes for the mass founding of women groups, to look and their goals and their connections to the broader society.
